She earned her dental degree at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Amjadi completed a three-year graduate program in Fixed, Removable and Implant Prosthodontics at the University of Pittsburgh and a one-year hospital-based post-graduate fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics before she returned to Honolulu in 1998 to begin private practice.

They spend time exploring the outdoors, playing at the beach and bodysurfing. Dr. Amjadi also enjoys traveling, reading, sculpting, drawing, painting, gardening and caring for her dogs Kofi and Oscar and cats Cleo and Suki.
